About this site
ArtCraft Guide is an independent guide to the ArtCraft family — the free, open-source apps that reimplement the Adobe workflow in pure Rust. We explain what each app does, how to install it from official sources, how it compares to Adobe honestly, and how to get productive fast.
Why this site exists
The ArtCraft apps are free, but they are also early-alpha and poorly documented from a user's perspective — the READMEs are developer-facing, and there is no hand-holding for the "which app replaces what, how do I install it, what is actually ready" questions. This site answers those questions with verified information from the official sources, not speculation.
The apps stay free forever — that is their positioning and this site respects it. Revenue comes only from our own tutorials and preset packs, which are real, hand-built files you can review before buying.
Independence and accuracy
- Not affiliated with ArtCraft, storytold or Adobe. Product names appear only to describe the tools people compare against.
- App facts (features, status, stars, formats) are taken from getartcraft.com and the storytold GitHub READMEs as of 2026-10-13; early-alpha status and gaps are stated plainly, not hidden.
- Every tutorial is based on the official install and workflow information; every preset pack contains real, editable files.
